Evening Sew-In - Wednesday, July 11

Our June Evening Sew-In was a huge success!  We had wonderful attendance and Mona gave us all a great lesson on foundation paper piecing.

This month we will be holding our evening sew-in on Wednesday, July 11 from 3-9 P.M. at St. Martin's Church.  Amy will be teaching us how to make scrappy round coasters.

If you plan to participate in the demo, please bring the following materials (will make one coaster):

• sewing machine
• thread for quilting your coasters
• fabric scraps to piece front of coaster (must end up 6.5"square or larger)
• 6.5" x 6.5" square of fabric for back of coaster
• 6.5" x 6.5" square of batting for each coaster
• fat quarter of binding fabric (binding must be cut on bias)

Other items that can be shared:

• scissors
• iron
• ruler to cut binding
